Thought I would share my Facebook Ads experience with other booth owners and show how it works for me.
Basically I make a post like this https://www.facebook.com/therusticboothcompany/posts/520828808268131
– setup a post engagement ad,
– set a lifetime budget over a month or two for £100 – £200
– runs 3pm – 11pm weekends and 9am – 11pm weekends – you don’t get to schedule unless you have a lifetime budget
– targeting engaged women within 40 miles of me
As you can see from the images this converts into 12,107 people reached and 990 post engagements
This creates around 70 enquiries which roughly turns into 17 bookings
The bigger the radius and the higher the budget then the more enquiries you will get.
The £100 budget doesn’t get spent on day one. So say you cancelled the ad after a week it will have probably only of used £20 of the £100 budget you set but within a week you should have seen plenty of leads providing your post is attractive enough.
So that particular post converts £105.23 to £6800k of bookings
Sometimes I run a couple, other times I just do a one off boost if I like a particular post but I always use the same target audience.
I’m also a big fan of the personalised pre-set replies in Facebook page messenger as I have an answer for most questions. So when I’m out and about and get enquiries I can respond with what appears to be a personalised message very quickly from my phone.
